Is MTG Really this stupid?

Perjury Traitor Greene seems to think that solar and wind energy only work when there's sun and wind, apparently she's never heard of batteries, you mean they don't have batteries in deep, dark Georgia where she's from? Is her brain even capable of keeping her breathing?

“Thank god for air conditioning. Let’s talk about refrigerators. I personally like my refrigerator. I know you all like yours. What about washing machines and dryers? Lord please God don’t make me scrub clothes in a bucket and have to hang them out on a line when we switch over to wind turbines and solar panels,” she said. “I’m gonna be really pissed off about that. I mean, how absurd is this? I like the lights on. I wanna stay up later at night. I don’t wanna have to go to bed when the sun sets. It’s so silly! I mean, all of this is insane.”

Solar and wind do only work when there is sun and wind. Batteries are NOT solar and are NOT wind power! They are just energy storage in chemical form. Same as in your car, your phone, your laptop computer, your tablet. I hate MTG but she's technically correct.

@zonavar68 While she may be "technically correct" that doesn't prevent her comment from being inflammatory and stupid and solely designed to get the base riled up against renewable energy. She is attempting to negate the existence of batteries capable of storing the energy generated by solar and wind, same as fossil fuel powered plants will be useless when fossil fuels run out...

@spjennifer That's where nuclear comes in, but our Australian government is too much up the arse of global energy companies and super-scared of nuclear power.
