can someone explain the word syllogism to me. I knocked over a glass of wine trying to go for the dictionary and then I had to try and clean the carpet, and the dictionary just says: a form of deductive reasoning consisting of a major premise, a minor premise, and a conclusion....' can I get a better clarification please. I'll wait for an answer while I sip new wine and try more carpet cleaning
