Trump ally Rep. Scott Perry says FBI seized his cellphone

One day after the raid on former President Donald Trump‘s home, the FBI has seized the cell phone of a Republican member of Congress.

Rep. Scott Perry, Pennsylvania Republican, said in a statement to Fox News that three FBI agents handed him a warrant and demanded his phone.

“This morning, while traveling with my family, 3 FBI agents visited me and seized my cell phone. They made no attempt to contact my lawyer, who would have made arrangements for them to have my phone if that was their wish. I’m outraged — though not surprised — that the FBI under the direction of Merrick Garland’s DOJ, would seize the phone of a sitting Member of Congress,” he said.

@SW-User So you're OK with a totalitarian government looking to destroy anyone who dares to disagree with it, while giving a free pass to massively corrupt supporters? Wow. Frightening times.

@graphite Bring it on! Because of course if this had been a Democrat Senator you would have been cheering them on and shouting from the rooftops about how the swamp is FINALLY being drained :D I'm sorry you don't like the fact that the whole sorry corrupt, festering fucktangle of democracy-hating fascist shitweasels are finally getting their comeuppance, but frankly, that's not my problem! 🥳

@SW-User It's NEVER a Democrat with this corrupt, weaponized DoJ/FBI. Hillary - deletes 33,000 subpoeanaed emails, has classified materials on private server - no prosecution; Lois Lerner - using the IRS against conservatives - no prosecution; Eric Holder - contempt of Congress - no prosecution, Obama - too many scandals to name here - no prosecution; Biden Crime Family - too much corruption to list here - no prosecution.

@graphite
It's NEVER a Democrat
But it IS if it's a Republican, especially when they are a former president being investigated for:

Missing national records
Attack on the US Capitol
Wire fraud
Georgia election tampering
A New York criminal inquiry, where Trump’s family real estate company is accused of misrepresenting the values of its properties to get favorable bank loans and lower tax bills.
A civil inquiry regarding whether the Trump Organization inflated real estate values.
And E Jean Carroll’s defamation case.

Prosecution? YEAH!

As for Obama and the Biden Crime Family (🤣) Too many to list = Nada hehe

@SW-User All examples of Democrats and their "You find the man, I'll find the 'crime'" Soviet-style prosecution. When will Ray Epps, a leader of the crowd on January 6, be charged with something, anything? A known inciter on that day, charged with nothing. Working for the feds, perhaps, on this false flag operation?

@SW-User "Liberal," as in, unlimited access to abortion, the only "liberty" so-called liberals care about. Right to bear arms? Nope. Right to free speech? Nope. Freedom of worship? Nope. Due process? Nope. And on and on.

@graphite The right to free healthcare, the right to more paid maternity leave, the right to a livable climate...

@SW-User Found all those pregnant men yet?
graphite · 61-69, M
@SW-User And who pays for this "free" health care? Livable climate? 🤣 More of the climate change nonsense. I haven't had my AC on more than a handful of days this year. Maternity leave? They get months and months and months of it in places like Finland. But the birth rates are still at extinction levels, because the taxes to pay for all the "free" services simply doesn't leave enough money for things like raising children. (Companies are free to offer all the maternity leave they want. It's not the government's business to mandate it.)

Canada has "free" health care: https://realitiesofsinglepayer.com/2021/12/17/canadians-waited-longer-than-ever-for-care-in-2021/#:~:text=Canadian%20patients%20waited%20longer%20than,weeks%E2%80%94the%20longest%20ever%20recorded.

"Waiting for treatment has become a defining characteristic of Canada’s government-run health care system. Long wait times can result in increased suffering for patients, lost productivity at work, a decreased quality of life, and in the worst cases, disability or death."

@graphite Go to any hospital within easy driving distance of the Canadian border and check out how many Canadian plates you see

TORONTO — When Sharon Shamblaw was diagnosed last summer with a form of blood cancer that could only be treated with a particular stem cell transplant, the search for a donor began. A Toronto hospital, 100 miles east of her home in St. Mary's, Ontario, and one of three facilities in the province that could provide the life-saving treatment, had an eight-month waiting list for transplants.

Four months after her diagnosis, Shamblaw headed to Buffalo, New York, for treatment. But it was too late. She died at the age of 46, leaving behind a husband and three children, as detailed by the Toronto Star.

@sunsporter1649 So, why aren't the Repubs doing anything to help solve those problems instead of oppressing women? The Repubs ake the Taliban look like flaming liberals when it comes to treatment of women.

You would have been happier in the golden age of Jim Crow. Living in today's world is too stressful for you.
