Disney has expressed concerns that the character of Captain Hook might be "problematic".

Really, Disney? Captain Hook? That's the character in Peter Pan you're embarrassed by? Okay, he's missing a hand, which was actually pretty typical of pirates, given their tendency to play with sharp objects. And for a disabled guy, Captain Hook sure doesn't seem to let it slow him down. To use the modern parlance, he might be differently abled, but he does a lot of things most people couldn't do.

Now, let's talk about the parts of Peter Pan that should embarrass Disney...

I'm still surprised they haven't censored (yet?) Robin Hood and his insane communistic idea of stealing from the rich to give to the poor

@Elessar I'm sure the Republican party wants to.

@LordShadowfire Now I've given them the idea, brace yourselves
@Elessar Robin Antifa Hood!

So Peter Pan himself isn’t a problem, A man who is God knows how old but still in a young boy’s body thanks to the “pixie dust” he constantly takes, quietly creeping into children’s bedroom in the middle of the night and stealing them away to a distant land without their parents knowledge or permission? But Captain Hook is the issue?
I think this was just snowflakes being snowflakes. The Natives were portrayed pretty positively here.

In the song, "What made the Redman red?" the answer was a kiss from his sweetheart. Come on, that's cute!
