Biden Plans To Steal The NEXT Election With An Executive Order. No Kidding

Last year Biden issued Executive Order 14019, “Promoting Access to Voting.” It directed every federal agency, agencies that are staffed through partisan appointments, to create a plan to register and mobilize voters. It also orders these agencies to work with organizations such as activist groups to register and mobilize voters in whatever manner they see fit. In doing so, the Biden administration has politicized election processes that were uniquely guarded as nonpartisan since the ratification of the Constitution in 1788.

So this seems to have gone off the original topic into silliness, but I think it's probably a good thing for the government to provide information to people about how to register to vote and vote. I don't think it's a bipartisan thing to put out something saying "Here are all the states and their voter registration deadlines. Here's what you have to do in each state to register, etc." It seems like that's pretty much what the EO does, so I don't see it as a problem.

@ItsSteve Since when is the federal government permitted to stick it's nose into State and local elections?
ItsSteve · 46-50, M
@sunsporter1649 It's not, in this case. The federal government saying "Here's an informational campaign telling you how to vote in your state" doesnt stick its nose in state or local elections. Its not telling you who to vote for, and its not telling the state how it should conduct its elections. Its serving a purely informational role in a nonpartisan function.

@ItsSteve The law is quite strict on the display or promotion of voting, including the prohibition of political bumper stickers on government vehicles and the prohibition of political displays on employee vehicles parked in government garages
ItsSteve · 46-50, M
@sunsporter1649 the law is strict on the display of partisanship by federal employees. If a federal employee said "vote for x", that would probably violate the Hatch Act.

The state n t "everybody who is eligible to vote should vote" isnt partisan. Its not saying "Everyone who can vote should vote for X". It doesnt care who you vote for. It's saying "everyone who can vote should vote for the person they think best."

@ItsSteve Why do you promote the federal government becoming involved in State and local elections?
ItsSteve · 46-50, M
@sunsporter1649 i dont. Im saying this a case if the federal government not becomingninvolved in state or local elections. I dont actually understand why you're saying it is.

How is saying, "This is how you register to vote in New York", the federal government getting involved in state or local elections?

@ItsSteve You telling me the American citizen does not have the ability to look it up himself and needs mommy government to stick their fat nose into State and local elections?
ItsSteve · 46-50, M
@sunsporter1649 i'm asking tou how this is the federal government aticking its nose in state and local elections?
sunsporter1649 · 70-79, M
@ItsSteve Only the federal government has that information, and chooses to dispense it to the chosen few permitted to access said information?
ItsSteve · 46-50, M
@sunsporter1649 No, its publc information. And if you read the executive order, its asking the federal government to further distribute the information publically.

Whats the disadvantage of more people voting?
sunsporter1649 · 70-79, M
@ItsSteve Since it is public information, why does the federal government need to waste taxpayer funds duplicating said information?
ItsSteve · 46-50, M
@sunsporter1649 because it's in the public interest for an informed and active citizenry excercising their franchise. You may n9t believe in voting, but its a right our ancestors have died for. This is patriotism on the purest level. Im sorry if you don't understand that.
sunsporter1649 · 70-79, M
@ItsSteve Yup, mommy government has dumbed down the citizens so much that they are now unable to figure out how to register to vote, who is eligible, and where to vote without mommy holding their hand, eh?
ItsSteve · 46-50, M
@sunsporter1649 i think its more that nobody knows how to vote until they learn. Tell me, why are you opposed to people voting?
sunsporter1649 · 70-79, M
@ItsSteve Seems like schools are too bust telling kids boys are really girls rather than basic civics
ItsSteve · 46-50, M
@sunsporter1649 i dont kbow. Its been quite a few years since i was in school, so i dont k ow what they're teaching these days for sure
So what's wrong woth voting, again?
