Next to that, the spirit is out of the bottle. This fantasy of removing Trump from the political playing field and hoping that would "normalise" the situation sounds pretty dumb to me. A good number of politicians know now, that they can get elected by pampering to a radical evangelicals, if it's not Trump it will be another fringe white christian nationalist that will exploit the believes, bigotry and ignorance that thrives in this culture. And as long as these people are represented by radicals, no compromise is possible in your political institutions. And compromise is exactly what the system is build for, without it, it just dies a slow death.

I agree, we need to stop talking and take fast, deliberate actions against him and all that have abused our system recently, including the SCOTUS.
