Should Trump be charged with crimes?

My question is not about whether or not he is guilty of crimes, but whether it would be good for the country as a whole to charge him even if there is ample evidence. I certainly see where there is enough evidence of crimes, but considering 40% of the country is still swallowing his #$%#, I think having him "tried" in the court of public opinion may be the better outcome in the long run. I fear that charging him will only strengthen his support.

He HAS been charged numerous times and always been cleared!
MasterLee · 56-60, M
@Shaveit lack of evidence does that.

@Shaveit Please provide the evidence of Trump having "always been cleared"? That wasn't the case with his fraudulent university, where he paid millions of dollars to settle dozens of lawsuits. And it wasn't the case with his fraudulent foundation, where he and his criminal children were found to have committed fraud, paid fines, had the "foundation" dissolved, and were prohibited from serving on the boards of other foundations. And it wasn't the case even back in the 1970s where he and his father refused to rent apartments to minorities and were fined. And even Robert Mueller concluded that Trump "could not be exonerated" from having committed crimes. Please provide your explanation of how "could not be exonerated" is the same as being cleared?
@Shaveit Wrong. Trump evaded charges and prosecution while in office because of political immunity from prosecution. But trump has been found guilty on multiple counts of fraud...for both state and federal felonies. He was found guilty of interstate wire fraud and multiple counts of fraud in multiple class actions suits in Florida for his supposed Trump University that never existed. In that case he pled no contest in Florida and paid a fine of $25 million to avoid prison in a plea deal. In addition to that he "donated" a "campaign donation" to the female blonde Attorney General of Florida not to push for jail time..and then gave her a job in his administration...that included a mandatory non-disclosure agreement to stop her from ever telling the story to the press.

Then in N.Y State he...and all the members of his family........were found guilty of multiple counts of IRS Charities fraud. He was running for pres when that verdict was returned so because of political immunity he was allowed to pay $2.2 million in restitution to avoid prison time. There were multiple counts of both state and federal IRS felonies in that indictment. He and his family stole every dime from a children's cancer charity and every dime from a disabled veterans fund. In addition to paying the $2.2 million, the rest of the courts verdict was that neither her or any member of his family would never be allowed to be connected to any charity from then on in N. Y. State.

Think a minute........................who pays $25 million.....then $2.2 million if the charges were not valid and a verdict had been returned of his guilt of the felony charges he was tried for. If you pay "to avoid prison" in a plea deal...........you are absolutely guilty of felonies charges.

@MasterLee It's not the validity of the evidence, it's the seriousness of the charge
Zonuss · 41-45, M
@sunsporter1649 Oh you mean like lawsuits involving Trump University. We saw how that ended. 😂
sunsporter1649 · 70-79, M
@Zonuss Donated to the clinton global initiative lately?
Zonuss · 41-45, M
@sunsporter1649 No I haven't. Nor do I want to. Ha. You are so lame to think us Democrats are like you. 😊

@Zonuss How's the biden cancer initiative doing?
@Zonuss Trump University ended with guilty counts for multiple felony federal charges for interstate wire fraud and extortion. trump pled "no contendo" in Florida District Court and paid $25 million to avoid FEDERAL prison time on multiple counts of federal and state felony fraud and interstate wire fraud in that state. No contendo is a guilty plea.........the same as "guilty " is......but the words "guilty" is not spoken out loud. Look it up. It simply means OK I did it.......but I won't say under oath I did. But even an IQ zero knows no one pay $25 million if they are innocent.

Then to avoid Florida state felony fraud charges Trump "donated" $50,000 to the young, blonde Attorney General's re-electing campaign to bribe her to drop the state charges. She did and Florida immediately started impeachment charges against her for corruption. Trump then hired her to work for him after the election....gave her a do nothing job along with a non-disclosure form attached so she could never tell the press about the deal to get him off.

Yeah.......all of everyone who don't have their heads so far up Trump's ass they need oxygen piped in just to breath knows exactly how that ended.

@sunsporter1649 Dont know, dont care. You can read cant you. I would hope so. 🙂
@Zonuss You never let us down on SW. When we look for what and who is leading America down to the sewers in the last 6 years..........it is always those that "don't know and don't care"........leading the way.
Zonuss · 41-45, M
@anythingoes477 America has been going down the wrong path for the past generation now.
Its a global plan to have things the way that it is right now.
@Zonuss The last generation you speak of stated with Reagan...........the one that laid the same exact game plans Trump built on. Tax breaks for the rich........do away with Social Security......bust unions.......re-lying again about how great it is for us and jobs and all of that bullshit....to keep the poor, poor and the rich richer so then the wealth can trickle down.
