Should Trump be charged with crimes?

My question is not about whether or not he is guilty of crimes, but whether it would be good for the country as a whole to charge him even if there is ample evidence. I certainly see where there is enough evidence of crimes, but considering 40% of the country is still swallowing his #$%#, I think having him "tried" in the court of public opinion may be the better outcome in the long run. I fear that charging him will only strengthen his support.

Should be put to a trial, because at least there will be some settlement one way or the other.

What I see is the right is being afraid of a guilty verdict. They want him to run again, so they are afraid. They disregard all the conservatives that have already testified against Trump, so they know he is guilty.

They have no regard for this system of checks and balances. That actually is offensive to them and why they are still fighting against this coming to a trial. They want a dictator that fits only their own views.

If you want him to not be elected again then a trial is absolutely necessary. Other wise you are enabling him to run again. And encouraging another January 6th incident.

@DeWayfarer Cool, a trial is in order. Of course, then President Trump will be able to cross-exam witnesses, call his own witnesses, and have access to all members of Congress' emails and texts, which should be something to see

@sunsporter1649 I suppose you would want him to have state supported lawyers. Or are they not good enough for dictators? He certainly doesn't seem to have enough money of his own unless you conservatives want to SUPPORT him as a charity cause. That sounds a bit like socialism doesn't? 🤣

Are you that desperate to have a dictator though? Why are you folks supporting him if you're against socialism? Dictator or socialism or a dictator through socialism? Which will it be?

@DeWayfarer That scared of a trial, eh? Wonder why....

@sunsporter1649 heck no! I'm asking how it should be tried! Who's going to pay for his lawyers? His supporters or the state? He sure isn't going to pay for it!

@DeWayfarer the demonocrat party has plenty of cash, let them pay for their half
