Should Trump be charged with crimes?

My question is not about whether or not he is guilty of crimes, but whether it would be good for the country as a whole to charge him even if there is ample evidence. I certainly see where there is enough evidence of crimes, but considering 40% of the country is still swallowing his #$%#, I think having him "tried" in the court of public opinion may be the better outcome in the long run. I fear that charging him will only strengthen his support.

You legal experts on SW...I would NOT want to mess with you guys 🥺 You have evidence of Trump's crimes, his racism and the 39 million lies he told while in office. How does Trump keep getting away with it all?

@BizSuitStacy I don't know. According to an upcoming Jan. 6 committee witness, he has a source who has a friend who's dad is a barber. He has a customer who's aunt's best friend's nephew worked at the Trump White House. He overheard Trump talking to some cabinet staffer about an insurrection on January 6. It looks pretty bad.

@BizSuitStacy He doesn't. That's why all his friends are in prison..And that's why he lost the 2024 election. 🙂
