Should Trump be charged with crimes?

My question is not about whether or not he is guilty of crimes, but whether it would be good for the country as a whole to charge him even if there is ample evidence. I certainly see where there is enough evidence of crimes, but considering 40% of the country is still swallowing his #$%#, I think having him "tried" in the court of public opinion may be the better outcome in the long run. I fear that charging him will only strengthen his support.

@MarineBob people here in NY have been waiting close to 3 years for NY attorney general James to charge him . So far the close to 3 year investigation has turned up many cliff hangers and lots of mention in print but no charges .
I’m sure she will have all the evidence she needs soon .

@AthrillatheHunt how much has she spent
DavidT8899 · 22-25, M
@AthrillatheHunt Im sure she will too, seeing as when she was running for D.A ,one of her campaign promises was that she was going to indicte Donald Trump on something! Its like Stalin said:"Show me the man and Ill find you the crime!"

@DavidT8899 sounds to me like millions of taxpayer dollars wasted on a wild goose chase to temporarily satisfy those who want blood.

@MarineBob about 3 years and several millions.
