Maybe "the base" knows more than the people who were present during the planning of cry-Baby-trump's planning for the insurrection.

They may have heard voices.

We're really not equipped to deal with mass psychosis, imo. They still vote, and that's what matters.

If they're a more reliable voting base, and enough people respect that and think they can use them, I'm not sure it matters.

You can't even try to disenfranchise people without getting yourself into more hot water.

@MistyCee If voters, en masse, decide to support genocide against a segment of the population, out of some kind of mental derangement, I'm not convinced, the fact they are reliable voters is significant. Instead, it's a sign of a society that has lost its way and what the Founders of the USA feared the most... mob rule. They had a healthy love-hate affinity with "the masses."
