Another Arkanside

Houston, Texas trial lawyer and Democrat mega donor Steve Mostyn died on Thursday in what authorities are saying was a “suicide,” according to the Houston Chronicle. Mr. Mostyn was only 46, he left behind a wife and several children, and earlier this year had announced that he was going to be stepping away from politics to spend more time with his family.

Stepping aside. I think when they join the cult they are expected to stay in for life otherwise they are considered a viable threat.

@MalteseFalconPunch Yeah, thanks. I got that part though, just not why he would even think they did.

In 2020 45,979 Americans died by suicide.
In 2020, there were an estimated 1.20M suicide attempts.
Sporty believes Hillary caused them all.
Mostyn was best known for his insurance litigation, suing over hurricane-related damages. He was a former President of the Texas Trial Lawyers Association, and a noted Democratic campaign contributor.
What's an "Arkanside"??
You have to wonder what if anything he might have known that if applicable, would have threatened the Clintons.

@MalteseFalconPunch How many people in your extended family have committed suicide?

I can come up with maybe 10 people who have committed suicide that I knew personally, 3 that were close. 2 or 3 suspicious deaths in my 56 years on the planet. I can't imagine the bad luck of the Clinton's to know 150 people who either commit suicide or die under suspicious circumstances.
@Roadsterrider So no known connection to the Clintons, as I thought.

@ElwoodBlues The problem is that when someone dies and the Clinton's are mentioned, you have to think about it because the list of unfortunate souls committing suicide or having a suspicious death is so long. Not sure it really has anything to do with the Clinton's or just their circle of friends, or just politics in general.
@Roadsterrider
you have to think about it
Actually, I don't have to think about it because I never swallowed the original right-wing lie about Vince Foster. Instead, I looked at what Kenneth Starr said about Vince Foster. Starr followed every possible lead to get dirt on the Clintons, including investigating the death of Vince Foster.
In early 1995, Kavanaugh offered Starr "the legal rationale for expanding his investigation of the Arkansas financial dealings of President Bill Clinton and his wife, Hillary, to include the Foster death," the Washington Post reported. "Kavanaugh, then 30, argued that unsupported allegations that Foster may have been murdered gave Starr the right to probe the matter more deeply. Foster’s death had already been the focus of two investigations, both concluding that Foster committed suicide."

One investigation by then-special counsel Robert Fiske involved four lawyers, five physicians, seven FBI agents, approximately 125 witnesses, and DNA tests, the Washington Post reported in 1994. "According to Fiske," the paper said, "Foster’s death was a personal collapse, not a White House scandal."
. . .

Kavanaugh eventually affirmed the suicide finding and, in October 1997, Starr issued a report on Foster’s death and concluded that Foster killed himself. But today, conspiracies continue to flourish. In 2016, for example, President Donald Trump called Foster’s death "very fishy."
@Roadsterrider, you claim
you have to think about it
No, I don't, because I never swallowed the original right-wing bulllshit. But I do have to deal with morons who keep the lie alive 25 years after Starr's third and final investigation of the death of Vince Foster, and the third and final determination of depression leading to suicide.
Geeze. Intrigued by stories but unconcerned with our political problem.
Conservatives really are the end of decency and society.

@Roundandroundwego And that from a proponent of infanticide right up to the moment of birth
@sunsporter1649 that's quite slanderous. You really hate me. You are so full of hate you make obscene lies. Conservative people! You certainly are a con.
