@Carla This is one more example of what always happens when conservatives retell news stories. Something inconsequential happened somewhere. Someone else sees an opportunity to spin it as something those crazy libs are doing. And people eat it up as if it is "one more example" of whatever they already believe about people like me.

Am I doing the same thing right now to [@sunsporter1949]? Yes I am. But I'm being facetious. I want to demonstrate how much it sucks when other people spin a story to make fun of your side. It's not fair, and it's NOT representative of "what always happens." But unlike OP, at least I can post a link to the specific example I'm referencing:

@Budwick The op-ed piece you linked to fails to note that (a) there were bomb threats against the school district in retaliation, and (b) the boys were cleared of all charges (as they should have been).

Talk about burying the lead. Should "the libs" now turn this into a story about school violence? (The answer, in case it's not obvious what I am implying, is no.)

@ShadowSister it is nothing more than sensational headlines. No more credible than the national enquirer.
And the purpose is to only foment rage.
And as you see...bomb threats.
