In an op-ed this Wednesday, the Editorial Board for the Washington Examiner declared that the testimony Tuesday from former White House aide Cassidy Hutchinson "ought to ring the death knell for former President Donald Trump’s political career."

"In short, Hutchinson was a conservative Trumpist true believer and a tremendously credible one at that," the Board writes. "She did not overstate things, did not seem to be seeking attention, and was very precise about how and why she knew what she related and about which testimony was firsthand and which was secondhand but able to be corroborated."

There's a difference here, fella. Hearsay is whether evidence stands up in court, not Congress. This is a legal hearing. If Hutchinson was lying, she faces charges of perjury, unlike those who are trying to discredit her; they can say what they like.

Ms. Cheney is/was very careful with her wording of the questions she asks. The SS agents will be testifying in the next couple of hearings. There is a reason those questions were asked.

Also, Bobbie Engle, the driver of this incident was also the SS agent who tried to get Pence in the limo as the sedition was happening when Pence said, "Nope, not getting in" but the mouth breathers, just get their info from entertainment stations.

@Strictgram The agents are set to testify and have already indicated that though the details are contested, the general emotion was the same. Also cross-check: investigation into Trump's hand-selected agents, attempts and contact and intimidation.

The important things - the things that prove Trump knew and encouraged the coup - were not hearsay, but direct testimony because she was there. If you're going to argue and asinine point, at least know the point first.
