Resources are not unlimited.

We started out as animals with nothing but our bare hands and what we could do for ourselves with them. If you had a disease or were treated unfairly, you just died or were otherwise out of luck.

Now, we have economy, government, healthcare, insurance, technology, etc. etc. But these things are not unlimited. Someone isn't always going to swoop in and save you when something goes wrong. If you're treated unfairly and there's no retribution, it isn't always because someone is racist or sexist or whatever buzzword you can come up with. It's because we live in the jungle. Anything can happen. If someone or something happens to rescue you from it, you're blessed. But if not, you're just like everyone else. When it comes down to it, we're still animals in the wild.

Totally agree. We're seen as cogs in a machine rather than as human beings with rights. Btw I sadly work with somebody who doesn't think resources are finite. He is extremely privileged and never had any financial struggles growing up like my family did, so of course he thinks things just infinitely exist, as if this is Fairly Oddparents where you can say you wish for something and then a magic wand grants your wish and wishes something into existence. This is the real world, that's not how reality works.

Racism and sexism are far more than buzzwords...

So that's how you people rationalize away the need to correct inequality?
