Roe v Wade: Racial Disparity in Abortion and White Evangelical Christian Racists and their stranglehold on American Politics

So the US Supreme Court pandering to White Evangelical Christians in their decision to overturn Roe v Wade is one of the most spectacular own goals in American history.

Racial Disparity in abortion means that due to various socio-economic factors in tandem with racism, non-white women are far more likely to have an abortion than white women. With black women being nearly four times more likely to have an abortion.

https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC7436774/

Considering that White Evangelical Christians are more likely to be racist.

https://www.nbcnews.com/think/opinion/racism-among-white-christians-higher-among-nonreligious-s-no-coincidence-ncna1235045

The irony is that abortion has been suppressing the population of non-white communities for decades. Because of this ruling, I suspect that in less than a generation or two, the White Evangelical Christians' stranglehold on American politics will be eradicated forever and Whites will be a minority.

So I will leave you racist Bible thumpers with this:

Galatians 6:7: “Do not be deceived, God is not mocked; for whatever a man sows, this he will also reap.”

Have a nice day

[c=002673]Let's be real. Everyone knows that ALL white people are racist, not just white evangelicals. [/c]
😎
@ProfessorPlum77 Do you think?

I do find it funny how some of these white evangelical Christians automatically care so much about Black babies now. When some of them will not hesitate to call police on a black kid just for being in their neighborhood.

@SW-User Do you ever talk to these imaginary people in your head ?

@SW-User Amazing how the "party of nuance" loves them their mountains of stupid and wrong generalizations

They are paraodies of themselves
SW-User
@SW-User Who, God? Like these crazy evangelical christians do? No.
It is an irony, but since women are choosing abortions, often because of economic reasons, as well as because of being in abusive circumstances or the result of assault, women won’t stop having them, they’ll just stop having safe ones.
So we’re not necessarily looking at more people of color, just fewer women of color, because that’s who will die at the hands of underground abortionists.
@bijouxbroussard It is a sad state of affairs all around. Either way overturning Roe v Wade will see abortions decrease, underground abortions considered and all the misery it will bring.

I mean statistically, black women are more likely than white women to have babies out of wedlock, so yeah makes sense they have abortions more. And no, I'm not a buzzword buzzword Christian. I am agnostic. Btw a black man is the one who overturned Roe V. Wade, you do realize that, right?
@IWasCallingYaLarry Ah, I see. you don't do nuance very well. And appear to be fixated on the colour of Thomas' skin. In that case, I will explain it to you.

He just pushed through a predominantly White Evangelical agenda. You seem to be thinking that he isn't allowed to because of his skin colour. You are wrong.
IWasCallingYaLarry · 26-30, M
@Ozymandiaz Never said that, I am simply saying that it doesn't seem to fit your narrative because he isn't white. But nah, never think logically, just ignore facts. I wasn't trying to be a dick. I was simply trying to tell you what you said makes no sense and that by your reaction to what I said, that you contradicted yourself. Be mad all you want, I'm just being honest and pointing it out.
@IWasCallingYaLarry No I didn't. you just don't understand what I said. You clearly didnt read the articles.

[c=800000]There are enough pejoratives in this headline to make a Mulligan Stew. [/c]
😳
Put a planned parenthood in Martha’s Vineyard and we’ll talk..
@TheOneyouwerewarnedabout What are we talking about?
SW-User
@TheOneyouwerewarnedabout wouldn't that just give them quicker access to the baby parts?

😂🤣😂

Omg I'm sorry. I'm a terrible person.
DeluxedEdition · 26-30, F
@Ozymandiaz where you got race and abortion mixed up is what I’m confused about. I see where your mind is at
@DeluxedEdition Read the links. And it was more a jab at a very particular subset of people.

Ozzy! This is totallyyyy watchmen <3 well written my darling

@Ozymandiaz I'll give you an example in 'reverse'

"Liberals are more likely be racist and this is proven by them holding racist positions like calling for less policing which disproportionately impacts on the safety of black communities.

Their racism is also demonstrated by the fact that they are more likely to hold pro abortion positions. Abortion disproportionarely affects fetuses of colour and supresses the population of people of colour.

When liberals push for pro abortion laws they are directly attacking the black community and doing so because they hate people of color"

Pretty silly isn't it?
@SW-User You seem upet

@Ozymandiaz Do I?

Cue the Margaret Sanger posts that prove nothing about abortion rights.

Well, you're essentially having a conversation with yourself where you get to define all the terms in such a way that yours is the only possible conclusion/interpretation

1. You get to dictate what is going on in someones head

You get to determine what narratives are acceptable.... clue 2. Yours

And then you get to 3. draw your own conclusions from that and 4. Conclude anyone who disagrees that what you've determined is inside their head is lying

And this is proven by 2.

🔄

So you've got a nice little closed system there.

So yeah ok. Well done. Just don't get sad if no one wants to play with you.
@SW-User If you say so
