The following is a false equivalency fallacy with no basis in reality:

"Protesters burning down businesses is exactly the same thing as rioters breaking into the Capitol dome to disrupt the counting of democratically obtained votes. It is no different, and I don't consider breaking into a government building to be insurrection, because people broke into personal businesses."

If you cannot grasp that this is a fallacious argument with no basis whatsoever in reality, then you should be stripped of your rights to vote.

If they were both treated the same way, I would agree. But when one side is encouraged, while the other side is prosecuted, there is a problem in position if not the act itself.

@Roadsterrider i whole-heartedly agree with this. Both were despicable acts and should never have happened. But i cant get over the fact how one of them was praised and encouraged by many. Innocent lives were killed! That shit hurts, man.

@Roadsterrider I agree. Pro Trump Republicans encouraging insurrection makes me physically ill.

@CorvusBlackthorne at any rate neither of these events shouldve been encouraged or praised. That my opinion as they both are examples of domesric terrorism. We're supposed to value human life; not squander it.
