The following is a false equivalency fallacy with no basis in reality:

"Protesters burning down businesses is exactly the same thing as rioters breaking into the Capitol dome to disrupt the counting of democratically obtained votes. It is no different, and I don't consider breaking into a government building to be insurrection, because people broke into personal businesses."

If you cannot grasp that this is a fallacious argument with no basis whatsoever in reality, then you should be stripped of your rights to vote.

So because someone doesn't realise something they shouldnt be allowed to vote?
What if someone who thinks that should be barred from voting?
CorvusBlackthorne · 100+, M
@Entwistle I'm sorry, but if anyone legitimately thinks that breaking into the Capitol dome for the purpose of disrupting the electoral process is anything less than a direct attack on democracy, I would prefer they be banned from this country.
Entwistle · 56-60, M
@CorvusBlackthorne A part of democracy is having the right to not support democracy.
CorvusBlackthorne · 100+, M
@Entwistle If you do not support democracy, why do you live in one?
Entwistle · 56-60, M
@CorvusBlackthorne I was born in one.
Where did i say i dont support democracy? Show me..
CorvusBlackthorne · 100+, M
@Entwistle I did not mean you specifically. Why would anyone choose to live in a democracy if they do not believe in it? One is free to choose to live in a totalitarian dictatorship if one wishes.
Entwistle · 56-60, M
@CorvusBlackthorne Maybe they cant afford to move to somewhere that works under another system.
CorvusBlackthorne · 100+, M
@Entwistle I shall have to address that in my campaign promises, then. Anyone who does not support democracy should not live here.
@Entwistle
So because someone doesn't realise something they shouldnt be allowed to vote?

People who oppose Democracy should not be allowed to vote.
Entwistle · 56-60, M
@BohemianBabe They should be allowed to vote against democracy.
@Entwistle Nope. If you don't want to live in a Democracy, go move to one of the many Dictatorships.
America should ban all openly anti-democratic parties, like Germany does.
CorvusBlackthorne · 100+, M
@BohemianBabe If I am elected president in 2024, we will.
@CorvusBlackthorne Thank goodness.
