Biden to withhold federal funds for schools that don’t allow boys to use girls bathrooms

K-12 schools must allow boys into girls’ bathrooms and locker rooms to obtain federal funds for lunches, breakfasts, and snacks, the Biden administration announced this month. A U.S. Department of Education spokesman told The Federalist the Biden administration’s press releases from several agencies announcing this policy will be followed by formal rulemaking in June.
Under this new demand, establishments that accept any federal food funding, including food stamps, must also allow males who claim to be female to access female private spaces, such as showers, bathrooms, and sleeping areas. Such organizations must also follow protocols such as requiring staff to use inaccurate pronouns to describe transgender people and allowing male staff to dress as women while on the job.

Thank you very much for that link, @sunsporter1649

I searched that page for words like "bathroom" "facility" "locker" "share" and "shower" and none of those words are on that page. So I really can't see where The Federalist got their hysterical talking points. If I've missed something important please quote it for me, but these seem to be the key paragraphs:

“USDA is committed to administering all its programs with equity and fairness, and serving those in need with the highest dignity. A key step in advancing these principles is rooting out discrimination in any form – including discrimination based on sexual orientation and gender identity,” said Secretary of Agriculture Tom Vilsack. “At the same time, we must recognize the vulnerability of the LGBTQI+ communities and provide them with an avenue to grieve any discrimination they face. We hope that by standing firm against these inequities we will help bring about much-needed change.”

As a result, state and local agencies, program operators and sponsors that receive funds from FNS must investigate allegations of discrimination based on gender identity or sexual orientation. Those organizations must also update their non-discrimination policies and signage to include prohibitions against discrimination based on gender identity and sexual orientation.

In short, the USDA says the school "must investigate allegations of discrimination based on gender identity or sexual orientation." That's the guts of it. Nothing in there about boys in girls' bathrooms. That's why HORsesASS Greeley (dude, I'm throwing your insult back at ya) is avoiding the question.

The hysterical talking points from The Federalist don't have a basis in that page. I looked to see if Fox or someone else was repeating them, but so far Fox is not. Apparently just fake news from The Federalist.

@ElwoodBlues There is an article about it on the federalist and some other obscure news sites.
I mean it MUST be true then.
@TheOneyouwerewarnedabout
Does the PROPOSED policy say "must allow boys into girls’ bathrooms and locker room" or does it say something like "must accommodate trans students"? There's a world of difference, you know.
sunsporter1649 · 70-79, M
@ElwoodBlues Another one to lazy to do research, just waiting for pmsnbc to spin their bullschiff and give it talking points
HoraceGreenley · 61-69, M
@ElwoodBlues Are you fucking kidding me?
@HoraceGreenley So you're afraid to address the question also. Good to know!
HoraceGreenley · 61-69, M
@ElwoodBlues Not at all...its just that in addition to being an idiot you're lazy.

Btw, I'm resorting to ad hominems because you aren't worth honest dialog.

Now STFU and try to learn something for once in your life
@HoraceGreenley Translation: you got nuthin', LOL!!!

But let's try it your way. NOPE, the PROPOSED Biden policy only says to accommodate trans students. Doesn't say what sporty claimed. Prove me wrong, lazy guy!!!
HoraceGreenley · 61-69, M
@ElwoodBlues All part of war on America. To even contemplate such a notion is contemptible.
@HoraceGreenley Hiding behind the vaguest of generalities, LOL!!!

In addition to being an idiot you're lazy.

BTW, I'm resorting to ad hominem because you aren't worth honest dialog.
HoraceGreenley · 61-69, M
@ElwoodBlues USDA said it would enfoce this decision
HoraceGreenley · 61-69, M
@ElwoodBlues btw...you're still a horse's ass
You aren't worth an honest exchange because you are ignorant as well

@ElwoodBlues “K-12 schools must allow boys into girls’ private areas to obtain federal funds for lunches, breakfasts, and snacks"
@sunsporter1649 You STILL don't know what a link is???
@HoraceGreenley Got a link to this alleged USDA decision?? How about a quote that justifies the hysterical assertions you're making???
sunsporter1649 · 70-79, M
@ElwoodBlues You that scared to find out you are wrong again?
@sunsporter1649 @HoraceGreenley I tried to track down the USDA source, and I can't verify any of your hysterical claims. That's why I'm looking for a link and a quote. What I can find just says "don't discriminate." Nothing matches up with your hysterical claims.

I'm guessing YOU can't verify any of your hysterical claims either! And that's why you both refuse to provide the government source, LOL!!!

@sunsporter1649
The link you provided has no mention of bathrooms - which only proves you didn't read it and you rely on The Federalist to provide you with information. BUT you if look at Biden's Executive Order it states that children should be provided a safe place to go to the bathroom. Schools should provide a gender neutral bathroom. Why is there a problem with that?

Lastly, why do Republicans only care about fetuses and not children who are alive and attempting to navigate their world?

It's easier to champion the unborn, especially when it is a guise to promote power over women's reproductive rights.

You are all a bunch of mindless bullies.

@whippersnapper More bullschiff from a left-wing nut-job marxist. Facilities must be a new word for you
@sunsporter1649

Facilities is not a new word for me OR The Federalist>> because they didn't mention that word either!!

You didn't answer my question. Why are you opposed of having children have a safe bathroom in schools? What's the matter? The Federalist didn't prep you for that question??

No one is making children SHARE a bathroom. The Executive Order stipulates having children have a safe place to go.

Here's a better question: Why are you reading such hyperbolic trash?

Thank you very much for that link. I honestly don't mind that it took 23 hours; I'm just glad that now we're on the same page.

@ElwoodBlues LOL. How long after the bullschiff rule goes into effect that every boy in school suddenly is showering with the girls, and just who is gonna stop them from doing so?
@sunsporter1649 How long until? It's NEVER happening!!

You have TOTALLY FAILED to show how the alleged rules would lead to anything like you describe. Read the page you linked to. Actually read it. What it actually says is NOTHING like what you claim. You are able to read, right?

All it says is the school "must investigate allegations of discrimination based on gender identity or sexual orientation." That's the guts of it. Nothing in there about boys in girls' bathrooms.
