Do you think he will weather this out?
Burnley123 · 41-45, M
@Jm31xxx God knows.

He was at tipping before the Ukraine situation took his problems off the news.

The Tories don't have an obvious immediate successor. Also, Starmer is making such a limited impact as opposition leader... Johnson might... might just survive.

One prediction I made is that the Tories will let him take loads of shit and then replace him a year before the election. It's possible but so are other things

@SW-User No, the more you write, the more Samuel Johnson and Winston Churchill spin in their graves.

Please, look up "misogynist" and compare with "misanthrope". You're quite entertaining, after a fashion, for people who are familiar with words and their proper uses

Big deal. We vote for a serial liar as well. Actually, you did, with a majority. We did not, but there's that darn electoral college thing.
Burnley123 · 41-45, M
@Northwest Fortyodd percent doing that is bad enough. No offense meant nor taken.

Animal farm vibes
The trouble I'm finding is who is the alternative.

I don't feel happy voting for any of them but gotta vote for someone.
On a side note I don't necessarily disagree with the changes for certain infractions though. I mean a good chunk of the code of conduct is basically about being polite to each other. You don't appear to have had your own Margorie Taylor Greene or Lauren Boebert yet but I see an incident where someone got rude with a person like that as being a case where an apology would be appropriate. But it should only apply to the sections covering minor issues of decorum.
This is so...depressing.

Not surprising from a jerk like him, but, still, depressing.
This is definitely self serving. We had similar fiascos here to the so called "partygate" although here it happened largely at the provincial level so how seriously it was handled depended entirely on who was in power in which province. Alberta conservatives for example faced pretty much no consequences for covid restriction violations by government officials.

Justenjoyit · 56-60, M
I dont really know who has done more damage to their countries its a toss up between Boris or Putin.
Burnley123 · 41-45, M
@Justenjoyit TBH, it has to be Putin.

He at least clears that derisory bar.
ididntknow · 51-55, M
@Justenjoyit Not to mention Biden ☝️
Our political problems sound kinda similar in that respect.
