Oil is priced internationallly. If your cost of drilling oil is 50 dollars a barrel and it is currently 105, you make money .

The reason oil prices are so high, is because the war in Ukraine disrupted oil exports from Russia and the Black Sea.

Biden canceled oil leases in Alaska, the Gulf of Mexico and other federal lands. Not because it was necessary, but because he is mentally incoherent, and he was taking orders from special interests like the tree huggers and people that think oil is a product of the devil, without offering a reasonable alternative or considering the consequences.

Biden and Pelosi are also listening to Klaus Schwab and his great reset. They want to eliminate oil, and coal without respect to the rest of the world that relies on it. Solar panels and wind turbines cannot replace the effectiveness and reliability of coal, nuclear and hydro. They are doing this under the guise of climate change, but it is actually an attempt to create socialism around the world, and they would be in charge of the one world government.

Biden released oil from the Strategic Petroleum Reserve to reduce prices. But that is suppose to exist for a national emergency and not a political tool. Anyhow, some of the oil was exported to Europe. Yep, when it was released, tankers from Europe loaded the oil and shipped it to Europe.

Biden is not responsible for the rise in interantional oil prices, but he is responsible for limiting domestic production and the jobs lost from canceling exploration and drilling.

And noooo, it is not a conspiracy.

@DallasCowboysFan Who thinks it's a conspiracy? Personally, I find the gluttonous demand in spite of everything to be extremely unattractive.

And citizens are responsible for working their mouths more than their minds during crisis.

@Graylight The demand is not gluttonous in the U.S. Our annual has decreased as a result of more efficient cars being sold. 30 Mpg was good for a car getting highway mileage twenty years ago, and now there are many cars that get that in the city. And EV's are replacing ICE cars. The greatest growth is in China and developing nations. The U.S. and the West are actually doing an excellent job to improve vehicle safety as well as improvements in mileage. But Biden has done many, many things to reduce our domestic production.

@Graylight Unattractive prehaps,but quite necessary.EVERTHING runs on fossil fuels and there's no viable alternative to them at this time.Simply put:the country needs the stuff.

@DavidT8899 Patently untrue.
