This is how the Dark Ages began.

Trump Endorsed Her. Now She Wants to Use State Power to ‘Crush’ the Left and Impose ‘God’s Moral Order’

Jacky Eubanks, a Gen Z zealot running for state office in Michigan, vows to make contraception illegal, insisting: “God’s morality is for everybody”

Jacky Eubanks is running for the Michigan legislature with a “wholehearted” endorsement from Donald Trump who calls her “an America First Patriot.”

Her agenda?

Banning contraception, gay marriage and imposing the “Christian moral order” on the nation.

The USA needs some separation of church and state badly...
SW-User
@NerdyPotato the whole world needs that
@SW-User true, but a lot of countries already have that.

And these are the same people who complain about “sharia law” 🙄
SunshineGirl · 36-40, F
I don't think God appreciates the 'help' of people like that 😞
LordShadowfire · 46-50, M
@SunshineGirl I remember seeing a cartoon or a sketch or something in which George W. Bush was asked by Jesus Christ to stop saying he gets his orders from him. This is the same type of thing.

But remember, it's the Christians/theists who are "persecuted" in the US

Christian nationalism does indeed seem to be on the rise

Religion will always seek more adherents (willing or unwilling), there is nothing positive about the virus of religion. Religious people have already suspended mountains of disbelief to believe in religious narratives to begin with, revealing their inherent lack of critical thinking, thus there is no encroachment on the freedom of others — no action by mortals on behalf of supposedly omnipotent deities with no need of intermediaries — in the name of spreading the religion, that will ever seem illogical, absurd or tyrannical to them.

The only thing they will regard as tyranny is when you try to defend your own freedoms from their encroachment (and then they will feign being persecuted, even if they outnumber you, even if you aren't trying to change what they believe in their own head, which of course, makes no sense). Religion will always be an existential threat to any democracy. Religion is a pandemic.

Hmm ... Maybe that's why Trump didn't use contraception with Stormy Daniels and Karen McDougall? He was following a "Christian Moral Order" whilst having his extramarital affairs.

I totally forgot that chaos and death only started with abortion and gay marriage! Gosh, I get so confused sometimes! Seriously, "Christian moral order?" There’s a vast difference between Christianity and morality. Set aside the total disregard for separation of church and state, this brand of Christianity they're pushing is built on white supremacy and patriarch. Tell me the part again where the right is concerned about sharia law forcing their religious views on everyone. If I wanted someone to tell me what to do, I’d go to prison.

@Randi1125 It's infuriating. And beneath that, so terrifying.

And where is the favored place to spend the winter for these morons, you might ask?

@Carla Desantistan?

@SW-User that's the place!

The Americans outlawed the speaking of Hawaiian in Hawaii in 1894. Was it dark enough for then?
badminton · 61-69, MVIP
Fat chance. We have a Constitution and Bill of Rights designed to stop Theocracy and would-be dictators.
Patty81 · 41-45, C
@badminton Have you seen the Supreme Court recently?
Graylight · 51-55, F
@Patty81 Precisely the reason for the post.

“We have a declining population. We have an underpopulation problem." Gee, whatever could she mean. 🤔
Graylight · 51-55, F
@Piper Ladies, get those red cloaks cleaned and pressed, because the time is coming.

The end of the Roman Empire!
