Margaret Thatcher

Her statue was put up today in secret but was still pelted with eggs within 2 hours !!! She still divide’s the country !!

@GeniUs shame that speaks volumes should of what her end should of been if there had been justice done a rope around her neck 😆

@smiler2012 Thatcher breaking the law was the first example I remember of the laws only being for poor people (I missed that business with Princess Margaret- fook me if that was true the people's lives that affected and yet some people still look up to the royals).

@GeniUs The UK was very lucky she turned up when she did, the country was in decline, of course people dont like change but it was very need at time.

@senghenydd Tommy Cooper any day, the Thatcher one made me look up (to make sure there was one) the Nye Bevan one which happens to be in Cardiff. I think they could and should do a better one and move the old one to somewhere in England.

@GeniUs I met Tommy Cooper he was a very funny man yes a good laugh meeting him, Nye Bevan yes I met him as well he shook hands my left hand he was a friend of my Grand Father, oh what a shame never met Maggie Thatcher still I'll get over it.

@GeniUs Nye was also the Member of Parliament for Tredegar which isn't too far from where I live my Grandfather was an Ex Miner and life long Labour suporter of the Labour movement Nye came to see my Grandfather it was great meeting him there.
