Former President Donald Trump said he will not get back on Twitter, even if his account is reinstated by Elon Musk, who is set to acquire the company for $44 billion.

"I hope Elon buys Twitter because he'll make improvements to it and he is a good man, but I am going to be staying on Truth," the former president told Fox News.

I mean, if he says it, we know it's true.

Truth reached an agreement with Mastodon, 3 months ago. Truth now has a section called Open Source, where they have the Zip archive to Mastodon's source code. They also expressed that their "goal is to support the open source community no matter what your political beliefs are. That's why the first place we go to find amazing software is the community and not ‘Big Tech"

Mastodon is a German company, and the Truth is roughly 95% Mastodon code. But taking credit for others' work is not something Trump would ever do. Truth. 😂

What makes it a "good counter balance"?

I mean for instance right wingers have always largely gotten away with having their circle jerks on Twitter (and Facebook), but left wingers cannot have circle jerks on platforms like Truth, Parler, Gab, etc.

So by balance do you just mean you don't have to listen to left wingers on echo chamber platforms like alt-right social media niche platforms?

That's the part I don't understand. Counter balance to what? Some people have been banned, but on the whole, you can as much right wing and Q stuff on Twitter as you can possibly consume.

@Stereoguy Truth Social is Donald Trump's attempt to follow through on his promise to make his own social media site with blackjack and hookers. Thus far, it's only available for iPhone, the waiting list is hella long, and people get banned from it for criticizing Donald Trump.
