Ok now with the insanity that abortion has become let’s take a look at this from an ethical standpoint do I agree that abortion should be illegal absolutely not do I think we need heavier regulations on it yes. Do some individuals act like abortion is nothing more than birth control yes. Should this mentally be terminated through education absolutely. Now here is my proposal and I think it’s a great compromise that would make a difference. Any child in the womb that can survive with medical intervention outside the womb shall be carried to term otherwise it constitutes as first degree murder. Any pregnancy that is the result of sexual violence (abuse or rape) can be terminated due to conditions the child was conceived and a police report must be filed before the procedure. Limitations on how many abortions an individual can receive in a medically determined time span should be put in place as well. 1 every 2 years might be a good place to start. Obviously the mother’s health conditions should be a factor for this and well that information should be left to medical professionals.
(False reports shall be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law)
@Ozuye502 I like the way you think.
@Ozuye502 Good suggestions!

Totally agree. In fact, that's the standard for legal abortions in the original Roe v Wade decision.
Obviously the mother’s health conditions should be a factor for this
Totally.

If mom is a breadwinner with 3 kids at home, and a birth will kill her, that pregnancy should be terminated for the benefit of the 3 kids at home.

@ElwoodBlues now the leaked information was saying that the regulations for abortion should not be a federal issue but up to the state. Which it honestly sounds like a better idea. Because one it cuts off federal spending on it an abortion is most definitely a dangerous procedure but is an elective procedure.
@Ozuye502
Because one it cuts off federal spending on it
There is NO federal spending on abortion in the US. That was made illegal decades ago. Look up the Hyde Amendment.
@Ozuye502 I'm going to have to disagree with you there. Because let's say the person trying to get an abortion is an 11-year-old girl, because she wouldn't survive the pregnancy. Pregnancy wasn't her idea, even. Cutting off federal funding means that her family has to pay for that abortion in order to save her life.
