Report: U.S. Provided Ukrainian Military With Real-Time Info Allowing It to Shoot Down Russian Troop Transport Planes Early in the War

You see, Russia, this is nice example of BLOWBACK.

It's what happens when you interfere in U.S. elections and it's a mere sampling of what you'll get if you try to invade a NATO nation.

----------

The U.S. has been providing real-time intelligence to Ukrainian forces since Russia invaded the country in February, former and current U.S. officials said

The intelligence partnership allowed Ukraine to shoot down a Russian transport plane carrying hundreds of soldiers in February headed to Kyiv airport

The U.S. officials said the Ukraine is being feed the locations of where Russians are based, as well as where Russia is planning to bomb

The CIA is also instructed Ukrainian forces on how to keep its leaders safe

Since the war began, Russia has lost a total of 873 tanks, 2,238 armored vehicles, 179 planes, 154 helicopters and 408 artillery systems

The U.S. has removed limits on what information it can provide the Ukraine and approved an $800 million package for additional anti-aircraft weapons and aid

Right into the 3rd world war...and the US want that
zonavar68 · 51-55, M
@Emiliomarti Trump desperately wants to be the one who authorises the launch of US nukes.

@Emiliomarti

How would Russia like it if we (or China, for that matter) invaded Mongolia, thereby resulting in tens of thousands of troops on an expanded border with them?
NoodleDoodle · 22-25, F
@Emiliomarti there is noone to blame but russia here.. they are exclusively at fault with everyone else tried to deescalate after 2014.

if nato had allowed ukraine in 2014 none of this would have happend. you cant negotiate with barbarians like russia.. they only understand a show of power.
zonavar68 · 51-55, M
@NoodleDoodle Exactly like Fuhrer Trump - which is why if he was still in power now there would be nukes flying.
Emiliomarti · 70-79, M
@beckyromero if we invaded Mongolia?
What sort of comparison with Ukraine is that? Is Mongolia a threat for anybody?
But Ukraine was REAL threat for Russia. Ukraine adores Nato- and Nato had already bases and weapons and instructors inside Ukraine. With great satisfaction of the U.S, the grey eminence of all this
Graylight · 51-55, F
@Emiliomarti No, it's not. And no, we don't.
@zonavar68 Trump is a coward who would never launch nukes.

@MarmeeMarch Aren't you able to have an independent view apart from propaganda?
Is the bad only on one side?

@MarmeeMarch Don't you think that the Usa (Nato) has big responsibities in wanting to expand so deep in the Russian territory, thanks to the fanatic comedian Zelensky?
Do you think that the Usa would accept any dangers from Cuba or Venezuela?

@MarmeeMarch yes..you are right.
And as a European I would like to have an authonomy both from Russia and the American military block. I think we are going into another era.
And the European leaders are only waiters to the Usa
newjaninev2 · 56-60, F
@Emiliomarti How is a purely defensive organisation a threat to russia?

Unless, of course, russia always intended to be aggressive...

russia ‘gave up’ the Warsaw Pact?? 😂 😂 😂

The Warsaw Pact ended when the Soviet Union ended.

russia was merely one country within that mess. The nonsensical nature of the Soviet Union is revealed when you see that russia has always assumed that it could simply step in the Soviet Union’s place in any organisation... the United Nations, for example.

russia has never been formally admitted to the UN... it merely walked in one day and replaced the Soviet Union nameplate with one that said ‘russia’. In fact, russia is an unwelcome gatecrasher at a private party.

Now the lying, murderous autocrat putin is trying to resurrect the Soviet Union... what a joke! In the process he’s turning russia into a global pariah. The international community doesn’t fear russia... it despises russia. The russian barbarians are murdering men, women, children, and babies, in Ukraine. Their thugs are targeting schools, hospitals, apartment buildings, and infrastructure of no military value.

This atrocity will stain russia for many generations.
@newjaninev2 Nietzsche asked, if evil men have no songs, why do the Russians have songs?

Of course, it's not all Russians. Having lived through Trump, I can imagine how horrible it is for liberal Russians to have to live under Putin, but with no hope of getting rid of him in the next election.

You never know. Things change.

At one time, the Mongol Empire stretched from the Pacific Ocean to the Baltic Sea.

@beckyromero Putin wanted to be invited into NATO and/or the EU.
Thu 4 Nov 2021
Vladimir Putin wanted Russia to join Nato but did not want his country to have to go through the usual application process and stand in line “with a lot of countries that don’t matter”, according to a former secretary general of the transatlantic alliance.

George Robertson, a former Labour defence secretary who led Nato between 1999 and 2003, said Putin made it clear at their first meeting that he wanted Russia to be part of western Europe. “They wanted to be part of that secure, stable prosperous west that Russia was out of at the time,” he said.

The Labour peer recalled an early meeting with Putin, who became Russian president in 2000. “Putin said: ‘When are you going to invite us to join Nato?’ And [Robertson] said: ‘Well, we don’t invite people to join Nato, they apply to join Nato.’ And he said: ‘Well, we’re not standing in line with a lot of countries that don’t matter.’”

The account chimes with what Putin told the late David Frost in a BBC interview shortly before he was first inaugurated as Russian president more than 21 years ago. Putin told Frost he would not rule out joining Nato “if and when Russia’s views are taken into account as those of an equal partner”.
@beckyromero
the Mongol Empire
Because of the Mongol yoke, russia missed out on the Renaissance, never quite grasped the Enlightenment, and has been suffering from arrested development ever since.

As we’re now seeing (yet again)
Emiliomarti · 70-79, M
@beckyromero afraid or not afraid..the Nato has been steadily expanding easter all these years.
And Ucraine was eager to enter. Zelensky would also have a better market for his trash Tv series.
Maybe one day Nato will have 198 countries out of 200 ...
newjaninev2 · 56-60, F
@Emiliomarti and if any particular country wishes to join NATO that is nothing to do with russia. Sovereign democracies make their own sovereign decisions, and that’s nothing to do with gangster autocracies
Emiliomarti · 70-79, M
@newjaninev2 that's your mistake.
Decisions concerning possession of nuclear weapons can't be left to single countries in the name of peoples' free determinations. What about the world's 200 countries all with nuclear weapons...??
newjaninev2 · 56-60, F
@Emiliomarti Why are you suddenly talking about nuclear weapons?

Anyway, to return to the topic... if the lying autocrat putin were able to destroy Ukraine and absorb that land into russia, he would immediately have several more NATO countries on his border. Apparently russia’s proximity to NATO doesn’t worry putin, and is just yet another of his lies.
Emiliomarti · 70-79, M
@newjaninev2 why do I talk about nuclear weapons? DO you think that belonging to Nato doesn't imply the possession of nuclear weapons?
I could list all the Nato places here in Europe full of nuclear missiles..
Or you think that the trash comedian wouldn't want that...?
He adores all of western civilization...
newjaninev2 · 56-60, F
@Emiliomarti Ukraine specifically eschewed possession of nuclear weapons, whereas the lying autocrat putin keeps whining about nuclear weapons, like a frightened child trying to hide his fear.
One step closer and I’ll shoot myself! 😂
