Report: U.S. Provided Ukrainian Military With Real-Time Info Allowing It to Shoot Down Russian Troop Transport Planes Early in the War

You see, Russia, this is nice example of BLOWBACK.

It's what happens when you interfere in U.S. elections and it's a mere sampling of what you'll get if you try to invade a NATO nation.

----------

The U.S. has been providing real-time intelligence to Ukrainian forces since Russia invaded the country in February, former and current U.S. officials said

The intelligence partnership allowed Ukraine to shoot down a Russian transport plane carrying hundreds of soldiers in February headed to Kyiv airport

The U.S. officials said the Ukraine is being feed the locations of where Russians are based, as well as where Russia is planning to bomb

The CIA is also instructed Ukrainian forces on how to keep its leaders safe

Since the war began, Russia has lost a total of 873 tanks, 2,238 armored vehicles, 179 planes, 154 helicopters and 408 artillery systems

The U.S. has removed limits on what information it can provide the Ukraine and approved an $800 million package for additional anti-aircraft weapons and aid

I was wondering why there are so many russian tank turrets littering the Ukrainian landscape... CNN just published an explanation:

https://edition.cnn.com/2022/04/27/europe/russia-tanks-blown-turrets-intl-hnk-ml/index.html

Turns out the best way to kill russia’s children is to put them into a Russian-designed tank

@IronHamster and they’re about to lose a lot more! 😀 👍

@newjaninev2 I hope so. Those Javelin missiles are only about $6000 a pop. I'm thinking of plopping down some ATF paperwork to add a few to my collection.
newjaninev2 · 56-60, F
@IronHamster Grab a couple of Neptune missiles while you’re at it. 😀

russia started a land war and then lost its flagship to an opponent that doesn’t have a navy

What a pack of muppets! 😂

So much for "Joe's not doing anything." Guess no one thought they had to confer with conservatives before carrying on with the work of the government.
Biden is proving very adept at going right up to the edge of how far we can go in assisting Ukraine without provoking Putin into retaliating against us directly. I’m pleasantly surprised. Of course, he has people advising him, but he still has to be the one making the final decisions. It helps that he has the respect of our allies who so far are remaining united.
@IronHamster Interesting. Except we don't have open borders, and most child sex trafficking is being done by conservatives like Matt Gaetz, who unfortunately was born in the US and can't be deported. He can be imprisoned, however, and I for one will dance a jig when that happens.

Also, you're still a piece of shit for posting a photo of Joe Biden comforting his granddaughter at his son's funeral. I hope someone digs up your parents' bodies and forces you to watch while they shoot them in the skull and fuck the bullet holes. That sounds like something Trump would be into.

@IronHamster They didn't, you fool.

Or Biden @IronHamster

Right into the 3rd world war...and the US want that
@Emiliomarti
Ukraine excluded the presence of Nato basis- whereas there was one inside its territory- destroyed by the Russians on the first days of war.
If so, the Russians screwed up. They had a treaty agreement, the Budapest Memorandum on Security Assurances, to remove all their nukes from Ukraine in 1994. Same treaty that said Russia would never invade Ukraine if Russia were allowed to remove those nukes.
Do you really think that Putin is a frightend by anything..?
Yeah, that's why he sits alone at the end of a long table. He's terrified he'll be killed by one of his close associates.

Emiliomarti · 70-79, M
@ElwoodBlues Any totalitarian head of state has this fear to be killed by one of his close. Think of Fidel Castro- he had security all around him- but this doesn't mean he had fears towards Americans or anyothers. I meant that The Western countries have much more fear of him - than him of them.
But we dont know if this was the reason to be distant. With Oliver Stone he always was near.
zonavar68 · 51-55, M
@Emiliomarti That's Trump to a T as well - he's effectively a Castro, or a Gaddafi. Most of Putin's public stance is show. Perhaps the problem with these autocrats is they all want to transform part of their world into the equivalent of Elysium and exclude all the 'un-worthy'. Sounds like Christianity at work.
IronHamster · 56-60, M
Next time they won't help Hillary!
Graylight · 51-55, F
@IronHamster Wow, do you make it easy to solve the "who's living in the past?" debate.
IronHamster · 56-60, M
@Graylight So, we should not solve murder cases because they're already over. Right?
Graylight · 51-55, F
@IronHamster They never happened, ijit.

Feel better now??
beckyromero · 36-40, F
@2cool4school

Yes, I do thank you very much.

Every Russian tank, every Russian jet, every Russian ship, every Russian soldier eliminated in Ukraine is one less that could be deployed to attack NATO.
2cool4school · 46-50, F
@beckyromero ok 👍 sure lol
zonavar68 · 51-55, M
Russia hasn't (yet) invaded a Nato country. Ukraine isn't in Nato. But Russia is goading the US for sure. Remember the war isn't new - it's a re-start of 2014 when Russia annexed Crimea.

@zonavar68
Russia hasn't (yet) invaded a Nato country. Ukraine isn't in Nato.
I was NOT implying that Ukraine is a NATO nation.

What I WAS saying is the difficulties that Russia is having in invading Ukraine is a mere sampling of what they'd get if they DID try to invade a NATO nation. (I just assumed that would be understood; I guess not.)

@MarmeeMarch Given the sad shape of the Russian military, if they had attacked a NATO country we'd have liberated Moscow by now.
