chemical weapons

today ukraine have accused russia of using chemical weapons in maripol again ukrainian troops and civilians . now what i do not understand and get is if russian troops have withdrawn from this part of ukraine why has it only come to light now .i am not suggesting this story has been fabricated and iwould not put it past the little gremlin in the kremlin to order there use as they have been used in other countries of europe .

Mariupol doesn’t really exist anymore...but Ukraine gaining control of it seems key to ending the war.
Wouldn’t surprise me if Putin dropped a nuke on it..
May 9th appears to be a key date.. put that down as a possible end to the war.
I have something on my threads that suggests Russian troops don’t have another month of fighting left in them.

@TheSirfurryanimalWales I will keep an eye on that. I pray that the war ends soon for everyone, including the Russian soldiers who don't support that they are being ordered to do.

There was a news clip last night showing how the Russians trashed and looted an elementary school they had taken over to use as their base. On one of the destroyed classrooms a soldier had written on the chalkboard an apology for their invasion and saying he didn't support the war. I think there are probably many who feel that way.

@windinhishair I think so too...it is a catch 22 for the Russian soldiers...if they refuse to fight they will be killed by their own side.
And if they surrender they fear being returned to Russia..
One soldier is reported to have said after he surrendered that his funeral had already been arranged in Russia.
The blame for this lies with one man

@TheSirfurryanimalWales It is definitely a catch-22. We need to remember that for the most part average Russian soldiers and average Russians want nothing to do with this, if they know what is really going on.
