chemical weapons

today ukraine have accused russia of using chemical weapons in maripol again ukrainian troops and civilians . now what i do not understand and get is if russian troops have withdrawn from this part of ukraine why has it only come to light now .i am not suggesting this story has been fabricated and iwould not put it past the little gremlin in the kremlin to order there use as they have been used in other countries of europe .

Putin has been using low-grade chemical weapons in Syria, for years. I would not put it past him to use them in this conflict.

As to why it's only coming to light now, when should it come to light?
