Picture it, Americans - it’s 2024 and the next POTUS is a Republican. 😳

Here are your choices: 1) Trump 2) DeSantis 3) Romney

Who would you choose?

Can you believe how low the bar is with the GOP? I never in a million years thought I’d support Romney. But here I am, if given those choices.

I was living in California in 2012 and I campaigned my ass off for Obama, donated to his campaign, you name it. I was scared to death of Romney becoming president. But if Biden were to lose, who would you want the Republican to be? I would want Mitt Romney.

The GOP has fallen so hard. They’re a bunch of traitors. All except for a few.

Romney voted twice to impeach trump. He was the only Republican senator to do so. He voted for Ketanji Brown Jackson. He marched with BLM. He tried to encourage his party to not go with trump in 2016... Yes, he's a standard corporate republican with policies I don't agree with at all BUT he's not an existential threat to America.

So who would you vote for if given those 3 choices?

Romney is someone I’d feel better about having in the White House than either of the others. But I never thought he was a bad guy—he just wasn’t Obama.
Romney might even resurrect the ACA—originally his plan.

@Randi1125 Same. I don’t vote GOP because the platform doesn’t represent what I value, and that’s unlikely to change unless I somehow become a billionaire and an Evangelical Christian. Short of that, nah.

I'll be voting for Biden - again. No matter who the Republicans nominate.

But if a Republican does win, I hope it would be Romney. I voted for him in 2012.

But as right as he was about Russia (as as WRONG as Obama was), the Republicans won't nominate him.

Romney is a reasonable, intelligent adult American whereas the others are complete idiots and domestic enemies of the American people. Since the Repub establishment is composed of idiots and domestic enemies it really wouldn't do any good to elect Romney as President.

It's kind of odd but have you ever posted anything about your own country/government, perhaps mention the thugs/criminals running it and its people into the ground, slaughtering innocent women and children in a sovereign county.
Is there one positive thing that your country does for anyone?
Perhaps you are the beginning of election interference.

Nobody that really pays attention is about to vote for a rino republican who's so far only proven how much he's like Biden.

Out of those three, Romney. Trump is still a dangerous and incompetent authoritarian. DeSantis is a more competent version of Trump. Romney is milquetoast 90s and 00s Republican, which is far more tolerable than the other two. Need to bring back the Teddy Roosevelt style of Republican.
