Trans women in sports, are we ok with that? It seems like trans women are dominating whatever women's sport they enter.

I don't care what anti-trans people have to say on this subject.
I'm interested in hearing from other people who generally support transgender rights.

Is it fair for a person who has undergone male puberty to compete against biological women?

They don't actually dominate every sport they enter. Trans people have been competing in the Olympics since 2004. To this day, a trans woman hasn't won gold.

Most sport institutions require that trans women be on hormone meds that eliminate any advantage.
@BohemianBoo

I admit that i only really know about the cases we hear in the media.
Are there any longitudinal studies related to how trans women perform after hormone therapy even after undergoing male puberty?

@BohemianBoo It does not eliminate their advantage
@Vegasgiants So how come a trans woman has never won a gold medal?
Vegasgiants · 61-69, M
@BohemianBoo Only because so few have competed so far.

Is it fair for soneone to go from a 500th ranking to a national champion by just changing their gender?
@Vegasgiants So then the line that trans women dominate in sports is wrong.

No, but that's not what sports institutions do. Like I said earlier, you have to prove you've been on hormones long enough so that you no longer have a genetic advantage.

@BohemianBoo And yet Lia goes from ranked 500th to a national championship. Two trans runners now share 15 titles once belonging to 9 girls. They also ranked over 300th as men

The advantages are obvious
