Well in fact it's quite the opposite - it tends to be the right wing followers who are brain washed - they hang onto the words given out on biased websites and other right-wing sources, they tend to be entirely unfamiliar, nay, against science and facts, indeed will argue against any and all evidence. And, if that were not enough many of them are poorly educated, barely literate and a fair number are into conspiracy theories. Liberals on the other hand tend to be much better educated, more academically literate, more able to make discerning judgements based on an array of sources and facts and engage in critical thinking rather than believing clearly biased and poorly composed websites and media.
@Adaydreambeliever Both fringes have their share of indoctrinated but the left is way more dominant in the way they control the media, Hollywood and Academia. The behaviors you describe transcend all political ideologies, it's based on the individuals intensity of their beliefs that determines that, not what their political worldview is.
