Hunter Biden’s infamous laptop confirmed in New York Times report

Next thing you know the ny slimes will confirm that the sun rises somewhere east of ny every day
Top | New | Old
No, The New York Times did NOT "authenticate" Hunter Biden's laptop or admit that it was real.

Let me repeat that for clarity. The New York Times did NOT autheticate any laptop or hard drive as belonging to Hunter Biden. What they authenticated was SOME emails that were allegedly found on that alleged hard drive. Here's the quote:

People familiar with the investigation said prosecutors had examined emails between Mr. Biden, Mr. Archer and others about Burisma and other foreign business activity. Those emails were obtained by The New York Times from a cache of files that appears to have come from a laptop abandoned by Mr. Biden in a Delaware repair shop. The email and others in the cache were authenticated by people familiar with them and with the investigation.

The NY Post simply gets the story WRONG! The problem here is that those emails could have been stolen from Hunter Biden's email account and placed on a hard drive in a laptop that never belonged to Hunter Biden.

What's the difference? That process of stealing emails and writing them allows a bad actor to salt the real emails with phony emails containing phony "incrimination." And what nation loves to steal emails and salt them with phony "incrimination"? I'll give you three guesses.

And that's why, in an actual court of law they pay so much attention to "chain of custody." If you don't know where the hard drive has been for a couple years; if you can never actually establish Hunter Biden ever touched the laptop, then you have no chain of custody tying the "incrimination" to Hunter Biden.

In summary, The New York Times did NOT autheticate any laptop or hard drive as belonging to Hunter Biden. What they authenticated was SOME emails that were allegedly found on that alleged hard drive.
@Budwick My conclusions are based on evidence; yours are based on wishful thinking. SAD!!

@ElwoodBlues OK, maybe you DON'T know how foolish you look.
@Budwick In summary, The New York Times did NOT autheticate any laptop or hard drive as belonging to Hunter Biden. What they authenticated was SOME emails that were allegedly found on that alleged hard drive.

And since the laptop and hard drive have giant gaps in the chain of custody, they're not much good as evidence.

The problem here is that those emails could have been stolen from Hunter Biden's Apple email account and placed on a hard drive in a laptop that never belonged to Hunter Biden.

What's the difference? That process of stealing emails and writing them allows a bad actor to salt the real emails with phony emails containing phony "incrimination." And what nation loves to steal emails and salt them with phony "incrimination"? I'll give you three guesses.

Having trouble? I'll give you a hint: Stolen emails salted with lies and published on wikileaks played a big part in the 2016 election.

@ididntknow indeed

All the news that's fit to print! ...... Eventually
@Budwick Time enough to marginalize it, play it down so that in the end Hunter will have the same day in court that Jussie did
MasterLee · 56-60, M
Not sure liberals are ready for that kind of truth

@ididntknow Imagine if one of Trump's sons' had a kid with a stripper like Hunter, who denied the kid was is? Everyone of us would know the stripper's name, she'd be on every late night talk show, the book deal would be signed and the movie in production. And she'd be hired by CNN on the spot.

@ididntknow Letita James investigation: Classic, Soviet-style you-find-the-man, I'll-find-the-crime fishing expedition. She's calling the Trump kids in to try to trip them up so she can charge them with something. Thank God for the 5th amendment, as a shield against this kind of abuse of power.

Yes! I saw a leprechaun holding it along with the Clinton severs!!
SumKindaMunster · 56-60, M
@Quetzalcoatlus Yes, mock the story. Cuz you got nothing else.

Like the Durham indictments, this story won't see much coverage. Wrong villains. Mainstream media is only interested in Republican malfeasance. (Democrats are angelic and sinless, don't you know?)
@sunsporter1649 So you never noticed what I posted 7 hours earlier in this very thread??? DUUUDE!! With such poor reading comprehension skills, how in the WORLD did you manage to finish 8th grade???

Here, I'll repost what I posted 7 hours ago at the top of this thread. Please sit up straight and pay attention this time!!!

@ElwoodBlues "The article then continues and confirms the authenticity of the emails noting that emails between Hunter Biden and Devon Archer about Burisma that were examined by prosecutors in an unrelated securities fraud case matched the ones on the laptop that Hunter had abandoned at a repair shop in Delaware."
@sunsporter1649 Yep, just as I said, and just as your tiny brain failed to comprehend, quoting myself now,
In summary, The New York Times did NOT autheticate any laptop or hard drive as belonging to Hunter Biden. What they authenticated was SOME emails that were allegedly found on that alleged hard drive.

See that? The New York Times authenticated SOME emails. Not the laptop, not the hard drive, SOME emails. Exactly as I said 7 hours ago and you failed to notice. Exactly as I reposted and you failed to comprehend.
