Thing is, Putin and his people like to deal with dissent harshly. One comedian was jailed for a joke. Protesters have been jailed just because. If you dared talk of revolution, you'd never be seen again.

@spjennifer Plus Hitler was beaten as much by the country itself as the Russians. But your point about people fighting for their own nation is well made. It seems Putin may not have learned all the lessons Russia taught Hitler as he seems to be having supply line issues.😷

The thing is that if the situation were reversed and the Russians were fighting on their own soil against an invader, you might find them a totally different proposition. But for whatever reason, there heart really isnt in this. Plus as shrewd as Putin is, hes no Churchill.😷

@DavidT8899 very valid point, but the oligarchs are having hard times outside Russia now. Their properties are taken away from them by governments.

@Thewhazzupdude Good!We could damage them even further by releasing our own supplies of oil and natural gas.When the E.U countries are buying it from us instead of them,the oligarchs will find themselves in a bad position indeed 😀!
