DirecTV Removes Conservative News Network in Blow to Free Speech

"The largest satellite provider in the United States said late Friday it will drop One America News, a move that could financially cripple the rightwing TV network known for fueling conspiracy theories about the 2020 election.

The announcement by DirecTV, which is 70% owned by AT&T, comes three months after a Reuters investigation revealed that OAN’s founder testified that AT&T inspired him to create the network. Court testimony also showed that OAN receives nearly all of its revenue from DirecTV."

The left are really in denial on this subject aren’t they, no wonder the democrats can always rely on their vote, absolutely brainwashed indoctrinated useful idiots
@ididntknow You don't like capitalism? You want government regulators to tell businesses what they can and can't do? Because the First Amendment doesn't tell a business what they can and can't sell.

Remember that baker who won a SCOTUS case saying he didn't have to sell gay wedding cakes? By the same token, DirectTV doesn't have to sell fascist wedding cakes! Or did you suddenly become a big fan of government regulation??

@ElwoodBlues "This happened after Biden came out and said misinformation needs to be stopped and urged big tech to stop all the misinformation."

Strange coincidence....
@sunsporter1649 DirectTV selects and sells various TV products that they beam down from satellites they own. Are they or are they not free to choose what products to sell?

@sunsporter1649 You keep ducking the question. Is directTV free to choose what products to beam down from the satellites they own? Yes or no???
