@Graylight Well,if you're going to get personal.....no,as my profile indicates,I'm not 13.And all I was doing is pointing out the rank hypocrisy of people who always insist that the latest candidate who represents the party they are opposed to are always,without fail,the WORST CANDIDATE EVER-untill,of course,the next one rises to prominence.You have to admit,it's all pretty silly.I think I'm being pretty "real";people who do that are foolish and inconsistent.

@DavidT8899 Let's step back. Allow me to introduce myself; my sword is sharp but I'm not unreasonable. I understand what you're saying, but I'm growing frustrated with the constant chatter - on all our parts - about irrelevant minutia while truly serious things continue to happen. And that's just in this country.

You do make a good point in that we tend to look back and see each person as being a little worse than the last. I'm beginning to think that's an optical illusion; I think we just get comfortable all over again with each changing of the guard.

@Graylight True enough,and I'll also admit that when the guard does change,the new administration-of either party-nevet seems to learn from the mistakes of the past.I suppose that's a universal and eternal truth,although I sincerely belive that the current group in power is a whole new type of bad.

i've had several occasions to visit Florida recently and it is much better run than California, New York, Oregon, Illinois, and a few others, and more open as well.

@LamontCranston I couldn't agree with you more,and the truth of your statement is evident in the migration pattern of people and business.They are all running like hell FROM those "progressive"cities/states that you mentioned and TO places like Florida!
