Why is the uprising of 1/6/21 worse than the months of rioting in the Northwest?

The BLM and Antifa rioters destroyed federal buildings during months of rioting. The capital uprising lasted less than a day. Why is it worse?

Because Democrats supported all those rioters but not the 1/6 business. "It's not going to stop, nor should it." Kamala Harris
@graphite Just like you support overthrowing the government because orange shithead lost.

@LeopoldBloom Does the name "al gore" ring a bell?
@sunsporter1649 Yes, he's the guy who folded like a cheap suit instead of contesting an election that he probably won. I don't recall any of his supporters storming the Capitol, however.

@LeopoldBloom You obviously have not done any research on that election, either
@sunsporter1649 No, I only lived through it. I don't recall Gore claiming that the election was "rigged," either.

@LeopoldBloom Found those hanging chads yet?
@sunsporter1649 Yes. The recount showed that Bush won Florida by around 500 votes. But we didn't know that when Gore conceded.

@LeopoldBloom LOL, conveniently forgetting the Supreme Court, eh?
@sunsporter1649 Yep, first election decided by 9 unelected judges.
sunsporter1649 · 70-79, M
@LeopoldBloom And you want to put more unelected judges in there. One wonders why....
@sunsporter1649 Actually, I want the Supreme Court reduced to its constitutionally-mandated role of only hearing cases involving ambassadors and disputes between the states. A separate court could then be created for appellate jurisdiction over every other case. This court could be term-limited, or justices randomly selected from the federal bench, or any other method to prevent each vacancy from becoming an existential crisis.

If the Supreme Court was 6-3 liberal and a Republican was president, you'd want to expand it, too. Expanding the Supreme Court isn't the answer. It needs to be defanged and replaced, and Article III allows this.

@LeopoldBloom LOL, and just who would create this phantom court?
@sunsporter1649 Read the Constitution. Congress would create it.

But why should you care? The Supreme Court is dominated by Federalist Society hacks, so why change it? You could replace them with law clerks who would just follow Leonard Leo's instructions and you'd have the same result.
