@markansas You are absolutely correct and the US already lost it with over $30 Trillion in debt and loss of control of a lot of US markets through reliance on China for components.😷

@markansas And that doesnt count the Businesses they have a strangle hold on. 25% of every American car is sourced from Chinese components. And dont get me started on Apple..😷

@whowasthatmaskedman Most US debt is one part of the government owing another part. Our debt to China is relatively small.

@LeopoldBloom Quite right. But China play a long game and may exchange goods and services under one Belt, one Road for US debt owed to other nations. Plus all that has to happen for China to topple the dollar is demand payment for future goods in something other that $US, which will force America into the market buying gold or Euros or similar. For com[plex reasons that will unend the global currency markets and the dollar could halve in value in weeks.😷

@whowasthatmaskedman If the dollar falls that much, we won't be able to buy as many goods from them.

@LeopoldBloom And thats kind of the point. As the benchmark currency the $US carries a certain immunity from falls and creates its own demand. Once that goes it will need to earn its value and it has not done that in a while. As a traded currency on the market if a lot of people start selling $ and buying Euros or Yuan or gold, a panic starts and what you see with Bitcoin can happen to $US. Once that happens no one wants to use it for trade.😷

@LeopoldBloom And make no mistake, that is Chinas long term goal, which they will get. They dont even need to get the title for themselves. Just make sure America loses it.😷

@whowasthatmaskedman And our goal is to maintain the dollar as the prime exchange currency. I'm sure Albania wouldn't mind if the lek took its place. Countries compete with each other. There are a lot of people with an interest in keeping the dollar where it is, and many of them aren't even Americans.

@LeopoldBloom Agreed. That has to be the US goal. Without that Ace in the hole America will soon have nations refusing to sell to America for printed $US, which will mean America has to buy something else on the open market to trade with. Then watch the $ inflate like the Goodyear blimp.😷
