Should democratic states and counties pay welfare to republican states and counties

Democratic states and counties are in generell signficantly more educated and wealthier than republican ones thus federal and state taxes payed in by democratic states and counties subsidies republican ones is this fair.

It's done everyday. One of the largest hand-out grabbing states in America is Texas. look it up. Check this..."According to MoneyGeek, just over a quarter of Texas’ budgetary revenues come from federal monies, and its federal tax dollar return is $0.88 for every dollar."

In other words Texas' hand is out so far getting socialism from Uncle Sam....for every dollar paid in taxes to the government.....Texas gets back .88 cents of it back. Yet they are the state that screams the loudest how bad socialsim is. That is the sound of hypocrisy at work.

@anythingoes477 You nailed it. And a great example is how their power grid failed, due to their own policies, and the federal government was forced to declare a major disaster which their 'real 'murican' governor screamed for. That unleashed a shitload of taxpayer dollars to help. Pretty much sums it up.

@Ynotisay Another example.....Kentucky. 8 times Rand Paul has gone into a tirade in front of congress and TV cameras about socialism when other states had natural disasters and FEMA and Federal Aid was suggested. Where was he when the 200 mile tornado hit Kentucky?? In Congress telling them how great socialism is...IN KENTUCKY. McTurtle has cancelled and trash canned 36 bills sent to him...PASSED...from the House that deal with climate change. Then a 200 mile tornado hits Kentucky...IN DECEMBER. Both of those hypocrites immediately had their hands out. Climate change denial had fingerprints all over the damage in Kentucky....but if a flood hits another state...or a forest fire hit again in a Blue state.........get ready to hear more of their bullshit about "the gov should never help them...screw them...let those Blue states figure it out without socialism."

@anythingoes477 Yep. You're on the money with that one. Where it gets tough for me is that there's a little bit of "Well, screw Kentucky. You get what you deserve and vote for." But that's not fair to people in need. I'd like to think that people are smart to recognize that hypocrisy and those lies and act accordingly. But they don't. I think they've been systematically brainwashed to act against their own best interests. And we all end up paying for that.
