I think we are seeing people getting fed up with all the crazy.

I think it was the combination of the Afghanistan pullout and when parents finally realized what is being done to their children in public schools.

I do hope that the tide is finally turning. Also Roe v. Wade is likely to be overturned. Lots of good stuff happening.

Maybe. I hope Jussie Smollett is exposed for the fraud that he is. I was also glad to see the killers of Ahmaud Arbery sentenced to prison.

But the fact that Ghislaine Maxwell hasn't been murdered yet makes me think she doesn't actually know anything significant. She still deserves prison, though.

The judge booted MSNBC. But I see where the confusion would come in. I wouldn't get too excited. It's still not quite blind justice like it used to be. But we can hope.

There are 221 dems v 213 reps and 1 vacancy in the House. Peter DeFazio is the 19th House dem who is calling it quits. The numbers in total aren't eye popping, but several of them are committee chairs, a strong indicator they fear their party will lose the majority.

Not to mention the Durham indictments.

we are on small issues, and that's nice. But in a bigger way, we're really not. The pharmaceutical companies will continue to charge us exhorbitant prices on meds the gov't helped develope. Little action has been taken to address tyrannical single family zoning laws that fuck over the poor and working class in cities by raising housing prices far above their actual value. The illegal US involvement in the Yemeni civil war shows no signs of stopping. Hundreds of thousands of good and decent Americans are rotting away in state and federal prisons over nonviolent, victimless drug "crimes" with no end in sight. We have a long way to go.

I certainly hope so , everyone can be pushed too far.

I have heard of the variant, but I have told anyone that knows anything about it to leave me in the dark because eventually just knowing about covid affected me mentally eventually and I'm getting over that.
