If your great uncle robbed a bank, would you feel guilty? Would you pay the money back to the bank's successor bank today? How far back do you consider to be relevant? If a distant ancestor held slaves in Rome, is that relevant?[Disclosure: A possible distant relative (connection uncertain) may have owned slaves.] The implied but unstated premise of the question is that I should feel guilty over the negative actions of others, a premise I deny as absurd.

If you are thinking that we need to make reparations then..........no to the blacks in the USA as that was a very long time ago. But liberals support slavery at present in China and by allowing illegal aliens into our country that will basically become slaves either for sex, labor or being used for votes that will be illegally cast by them for liberals.

It is big corporations that make electronics, toys, Christmas decorations, clothes and everything sold by Walmart that encourage labor slavery and they are almost always Republicans. No liberals I know support China or slavery. You are reading too much nonsense that is contrary to what even a simpleton can observe.

@Dshhh Sorry for you inability to read and comprehend. One of the things about the USA is that most people identify as human "race" as we are all the same color in side and we are all Americans. If you have to identify as a race then you must be a racist. BLM members are racists for example and liberals / socialists, the businesses they destroyed most likely were owned by conservatives / Republicans and many of those Americans were black or Jewish.

@Babylon If you really study history and economics of the times, the North industrialists wanted the South to only produce raw cotton for a cheap price and the North make it into fabric and clothing. When the South decided to purchase machinery from England to produce fabrics from their own cotton the North was not happy and prevented the South from getting that equipment. The slave were actually a minor issue but was promoted as a way to attack the South as anti slavery was a popular issue for the Northern snowflakes. After the supposed freeing of the slaves in the South after the Civil War the Northern industries still had slave working in their factories. What people also do not understand that blacks were not the only part of slavery as Chinese and Irish were often used as slaves after the Civil War working in mines and on railroads.
