Would you support lockdowns for the unvaccinated ?

Austria is days away from ordering millions of unvaccinated people to stay at home, its chancellor has said, in a rare move that underscores the increasing exasperation of European leaders towards those who have not yet been inoculated against Covid-19.

Under Austria's plan, which was agreed in September, unvaccinated Austrians will face a stay-at-home order once 30% of intensive-care beds are occupied by Covid-19 patients. The current rate is 21%, according to the Austrian Agency for Health and Food Safety (AGES), and a surge in infections has pushed it up quickly.

Unvaccinated people are already excluded from entertainment venues, restaurants, hairdressers and other parts of public life in Austria. If the new measures come into place, the unvaccinated will be ordered to stay home except for a few limited reasons; the rules will be policed by officers carrying out spot checks on those who are out.

Around 65% of Austria's population is fully vaccinated against Covid-19, one of the lower rates in the European Union.
''It is clear that this winter will be uncomfortable for the unvaccinated," Chancellor Alexander Schallenberg warned on Thursday.

@MrBrownstone How long? Well consider this - the religious freaks have been holding out for 2,000 years hoping that Jesus would come back and take them away while the rest of us are sent to hell.

So the master race vaccinated might be hoping for centuries that us unvaxxed will drop dead.

Some of the MRV's have the mentality of a five year old when it comes to things like "I want everyone to do it my way"

I never heard anything like this.

Vaccination DOES provide protection, and the numbers show this. It isn't a dispute.

SOME fully-vaccinated persons have gotten sick, some have gotten sick enough to go to the hospital, some have died.

But MOST getting it badly enough to go to the hospital and die are UNvaccinated.

...and don't you remember when vaccinated persons started getting "break-through" infections? The rise of the Delta virus.

With a "viral load" 1,000 times the original strain, it has taken down otherwise-healthy children & young adults...and it has gotten fully vaccinated persons, too.

THAT's another reason to get vaccinated: to help stop the virus from being able to develop NEW, worse strains! What if there's another jump of 1,000 in the viral load, so that a new variant is 1,000,000 worse than the original?

If you think things are problematic now, THAT would completely ravage the planet in a very much worse fashion.

I've never said that. Not sure who's saying that. There are much worse things than dying of the virus, but you don't give a fuck either way, so I'm not going to bother explaining it to you again. Someone with much more patience than myself will have to do that.
