Or we could assume the apple doesn't fall far from the tree and that as long as people sit home on their asses rather than voting, only the extremists' darlings will take office.

Perhaps we need to set a stern example of what happens to those who attempt voter fraud in the US. In this case, the person attempting fraud (the attempt is a crime regardless of success) is a minor, so the parents who raised him so badly should shoulder some of the punishment. 30 days in jail each, but not simultaneous so there will be a parent in the home to look after the child.

Not sure jail would be productive with an idiot teenager but I think the adult in this situation has some 'splaining to do. I doubt he came to this genius idea on his own.
