Does Biden's inaction on immigration reform really make sense?

SW-User
He's a puppet and he is doing nothing

@SW-User right. Immigration is still at about zero. Does it make sense?

Every reasonable bi-partisan compromise legislative package proposed since the Eisenhower Administration has been shot down. There is little question about what needs to be done, but it remains the third (electrified) rail in American politics because neither extreme is willing to face facts and compromise. And the third electric rail, of course, is heavily linked to the xenophobic and racial divide in this country, which is continually energized by the Trumpians. Faced with a pandemic, major economic issues, a battle over infrastructure needs that have been neglected for decades, climate change exacerbated disasters, civil war not only with Trumpians but within his own Democratic Party between progressives and centrists, and world-wide security issues -- why would any sane man once again tackle immigration reform?

It makes perfect sense for the bad guys. Millions of illegals + no proof of citizenship to vote = Code blue for the country. That is their plan, but I believe it will backfire on them, as many of these illegals know how horrible socialism is.

@Stopmakingsense No one here is talking about immigration.
@Oberon1 there’s reporting that many Hispanic males wind up being forced to or become members of MS-13 and other violent entities, yet we’re told it is compassionate to open our country up to them to flee such entities. And for the majority of the rest, like most people who have come here legally or not, tend to go to the enclaves of those from
The countries they left.

What kind of reform would u like to see?
Stopmakingsense · 56-60, F
@Wiseacre I'm not on one side or the other, but most voters want a clear path to citizenship, not armed guards on horseback.
