Everyone laughs at Trump's version of Thomas Jefferson, but is the nation that Jefferson founded finally going out of style, or not?

Jeffersonian Democracy was a nation of small "yoeman" farmers. He also could never bring himself to oppose slavery. Jefferson's big philosophical opponent was Hamilton and the federalists. Jefferson's party defeated the federalists, then splintered into two parties; one of which evolved into the current Democratic party; the other was eclipsed by Lincoln's Republican party.

So I think it's fair to say Jefferson's vision was dead by the end of the Civil war. However, we still remember Jefferson Airplane, so there's that!

Jefferson would be appalled at the whole military-industrial complex domination of our society and the amount of authoritarian actions taken by the government. Which is why he was in a favor of a revolution every few years, because he knew that power corrupts and thought those in power needed to be shaken up periodically.

Eh, the US will remain strong, but it'll slide down the ranks in relative strength in comparison to rising powers like the PRC, India, Vietnam, Turkey, and possible the EU. There's also a distinct chance that Russia will get a lot more powerful if the worst comes to pass in terms of climate change -- presumably to the exclusion of the rest of the items on that list.
Trump likes to beckon back to bygone days so people are distracted by his inability perform modern day tasks like paying taxes - for example.

When he conducts himself and his businesses in the same manner as myself then I will have respect for the man. Until then, I will continue to laugh at his attempt to coerce simpletons with lies and his incompetent view of our nation's history.
It seems it might be but what it is likely to be replaced with is pretty damn scary if people don't wake up.

It's about time the lot went into the 21st century
Personally I think Thomas Paine had some more interesting ideas than most of the time.
