We got an election this weekend in germany... thats the expected results for the direct seats

quite some shift

translation for americans:
blue = conservative party (think the center part of democrats)
red = social democrats
green = green party
black = right wing party (think republicans)
dark red = socialists

there will be also a libertarian party but they wont get any direct seats only from the proportional seats, in germany there is 2 votes one for a local candidate which this map shows and then a 2nd proportional vote that constututes the parliament.

@vetguy1991 yeah... german people dont like loud and agressive campaigns... Merkel politics always was viewed as calm and many people liked that

If only the Americans liked their politics to be like that too 😅

Germany is rather stubborn and way behind new trends .

Are protests expected?
Madgirl · 26-30, F
@Budwick no protests but rather hillarious in berlin there also was the big berlin marathon which is a huge event.. and when they ran out of ballots in some places they couldnt deliver more ballots cause all the roads were closed for the marathon.

eventually they kept the voting places open longer but still this is hilarious
