I wonder if there are any statistics on covid deaths based on their political party?

Like how many deaths are Republicans, how many are Democrats?

You could look at a county-by-county comparison and compare election results with covid data, especially since both statistics are measured at the county level

It's not an exact figure, but given how hospitals don't keep track of political affiliation, it's probably the best you can do

I read some headlines and tweets of people that have done the analysis for themselves and the deaths are somewhere between and 8:1 and 13:1 ratio of counties Trump won by over 75% compared to counties that Biden won by the same margin. That would suggest that Republican voters are dying at least 8 times as often as Democratic ones.

Although I'm sure the figures are skewed more heavily than that given how politicized the virus has become among hard-line conservatives
