You could look at a county-by-county comparison and compare election results with covid data, especially since both statistics are measured at the county level
It's not an exact figure, but given how hospitals don't keep track of political affiliation, it's probably the best you can do
I read some headlines and tweets of people that have done the analysis for themselves and the deaths are somewhere between and 8:1 and 13:1 ratio of counties Trump won by over 75% compared to counties that Biden won by the same margin. That would suggest that Republican voters are dying at least 8 times as often as Democratic ones.
Although I'm sure the figures are skewed more heavily than that given how politicized the virus has become among hard-line conservatives

that sounds like an unnecessarily controversial statistic 😅 that will have way more to do with age share rather than vaccinations probably. I hope no one researched that 👀

As a Canadian it just makes my head hurt to see how somehow Americans have managed to turn a global pandemic into partisan stupidity.

I don't believe those data are available at this point. However, we know that Republicans are less likely to be vaccinated than Democrats, and hospitalizations and deaths are strongly correlated with lack of vaccination, so the final death toll will almost certainly have a larger number of Republicans than Democrats. This is true even though blacks and hispanics are less likely to be vaccinated than whites.

I know plenty of republicans that are vaccinated.

Right now, it's largely rightoids dying, because the unvaccinated are at a much bigger risk.
