@ron122 Actually for that you are better off looking at Republican governors who are looking to maximize infection rates and think their constituents are too stupid to know who sets state and county policy.

The situation is a bit different here in Canada. They don't have to worry about sending someone back right away because we have top notch healthcare facilities here so it is kind of a non issue to send people back and have them treated here.

In Mexico it is a bit of a different story. So it makes more sense to treat people and then send them back healthy if they are not eligible for refugee status for example.
