Should Hospitals have the right to turn away Covid patients from those who have chosen to be unvaccinated?

Why should someone who makes the decision to not be vaccinated take a bed and be treated from someone who has taken precautions and had a breakthrough case?
Shouldn't the unvaccinated just stay home and deal with this virus on their own?

Is it true these covid-19 vaccines are not FDA approved? If so, that might well play into the issue you raise.

soar2newhighs...they are approved for emergency use...that was for the pandemic. They still ran all the tests.
@PTCdresser57 Not to be contentious but if what you say is true then what’s the difference between now and say right after the pandemic began?
So are the vaccines still approved for emergency use or has their approval status changed? Thanks.

As of right now the Status has not changed soar2newhighs. I think the FDA has special guildlines to fully approve a drug.

@soar2newhighs Covid vaccines - and covid treatments have all been released under emergency approval.

Full approval for Pfizer is expected in August, Moderna in September. FDA needs to tick all the usual boxes.
